I had purchased this for my porch swing bed my fiancé made me. I haven’t found a way to keep my dogs off of it, as they believe it is THEIR bed, and constantly covering it with dirt, grime and long hair.Up until now, nothing that has worked. I had a hard time finding a bed rail that fit the length of the twin size mattress we have, from end to end until I found this one. This bed rail is sturdy, my fiancé is a fixer, of all things, so this assembly did not take him long, maybe 10-15 minutes tops. All I know is one minute he was putting it together, I went into another room, and came back in shortly after and it was put together. This is the perfect blockade. So now those beautiful b@st*rd dogs of our can only admire our porch swing bed from the outside, while I can nap on it and relax as well, without my dogs being able to lick my face ?I’m certain this could withstand any babies and toddlers rolling around, as my 2&1/2 year old can’t escape the bed without my assistance.I would buy again, and again….Now onto finding the next thing that could keep them off my rug…..My wife bought this not for a toddler but for her small Shih-tzu that sleeps on very high bed. He has fallen off a few times so my wife thought she'd give this a try. It totally works. The netting stops him falling over the end of our bed & plunging to the floor. Very sturdy material & quality made. Highly recommended for small animals.For the price could not ask for a better bed rail. This thing is very sturdy and pops up and closes no issues daily and so far no issues with it at all. Made sure it was screwed down to the bed frameIt's a great product and I love the function. The only thing I have to complain about is sometimes the lock buttons are really hard to get to "lock" when raising the mesh. The assembly directions could definitely be a little more clear. They are very hard to understand.I purchased this I feel like it is over priced and was not sturdy at all . Also you need 4 for the whole bed at almost $70 a piece no thanksThis item was easy enough to assemble, BUT installing it was a different story. The directions didn’t match the parts. The legs that slide under the bed just slightly over extend my king sized bed. I had to modify and screw it down with the perpendicular metal piece, but that means there is a lot of wiggle room. It serves it purpose of keeping my kid from rolling out of bed, but if my 1 year old decided to pull up on it, it flexes and then metal had bent from just a couple of times. Now that he had realized it wiggles he wants to do it more. I am afraid he will bend it and fall out! I had planned to use these on a larger bed for my very tall 1 year old instead of a crib, but definitely not sturdy enough for that.We co sleep and have always had the mattress on a short 7" platform. My son moved out of the bed into his own room and I wanted a nice adult bed frame, but it is HIGH off the ground. We had baby #2 and of course went into Co sleeping again. I naively believed I would wake up when my daughter was awake and last week I was proven wrong when she crawled straight off the bed while I was fast asleep. I immediately looked into bed rails and found these. We have a California king purple mattress so of course finding ones to fit was a struggle. Until I found these. These are perfect for a California king! I got two of the 82" and one 70" and they are perfect! Super easy to set up and extremely sturdy once screwed in, connected with the joints, and mattress down. Glide down well for entry and exit. We have had this up for ONE night and it's already saved my baby from falling off the bed. Already worth the price!I like it thus far. It gives me a peace of mind when I go to sleep with my crazy sleeping toddler. Pretty sturdy, love the quality. Instructions could have been a bit more clear. But overall love the product.
