The description of the single size protector should have said 'Only Suitable for Child's Bed'. It doesn't quite fit a standard single mattress without an exhausting struggle. I wouldn't recommend this.This mattress cover was not as advertised. It was not made of cotton as stated on the website and was made by a different manufacturer to the one advertised. It was made of a cheap 'microfibre' (whatever that is) and the surrounding 'apron' looked like it would tear easily. I returned it for a refund, waited several weeks and then had to chase this up. I am still waiting although I have been told the refund will be in my bank account soon.i expected all cotton, the surrounding panel is like paper and i put my thumb through it when putting it on the mattress..Nothing against the supplier though. Thanks.Looks and feel OK but I noticed that the stitching hold the skirt to the the cover is coming apart already, and that's putting it on for the first time.I should imagine that after a couple of washes it will be ready to throw away.Single bed protector- very nice, thick. I have bought one in the past for our double bed now I bought one for our son's bedroom. Also bought some as presents. They are really good.
